Uninstall Perspective

This article provides instructions on uninstalling Perspective by using Command Prompt to delete the data in your 2.0 folder, as well as instructions on deleting additional folder data (if needed) and uninstalling the MSI package.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Using this method to uninstall Perspective from your computer will delete all the data in your 2.0 folder. If you run other ClickOnce applications, you may consider following the instructions in the Manually Delete the 2.0 Folder to Uninstall Perspective article. Note, however, that manually deleting the 2.0 folder will orphan (leave residual configuration information) in the registry entries for the Perspective application. If you're unsure of which method to follow, contact Resolver Support.

Use Command Prompt to Uninstall Perspective

  1. Close all running applications. This will prevent the removal of the applications from the App Cache.

  2. Right-click the Start/Windows icon in the bottom-right corner of your screen.

  3. Click Run.

  4. Type or paste rundll32 dfshim CleanOnlineAppCache in the Run dialog.

  5. Click OK to run the command.
