When loading Ballot for the first time, you will be prompted to enter your Access Code and Password:
At this time, the Ballot software will attempt to connect to Resolver's activation server. If your PC does not have internet access, or your local or network security policy prevents connection to the internet, you will receive the following error:
"Ballot is not activated. To activate, connect to the internet and re-launch Ballot."
You will be given a Support Code, and there will be a blank space for an Activation Code:
IMPORTANT: leave this screen up - as every time you bring up this window, a new Support Code will be generated. Take down this Support Code and send it in an email to Resolver Support requesting an offline activation, along with the access code or email you are attempting to login with. Support will respond shortly with an Activation Code - enter this in the appropriate field and click 'Submit'. Ballot will now be activated.
